It's been snowing almost a week here in Greece and every place is covered with snow, that means cold which I can't stand for long since I am a summer girl and already counting down for summer.
However I enjoyed the snow a little bit with my mum and Mozart who was freezing and I let me into the house immediately.

A total black outfit in a total white environment a pair of Ugg boots and a knitted turban was the perfect outfit for me and warm as well.

Bare midriff is the hot trend of spring/summer 2012 as seen on the runway as well as on many celebrities and bloggers. It might sound a little bit extraordinary and make you feel not that comfortable but it can turn out to a very chic look. You don't have to expose all your belly if you're not that brave but just a hint of skin.
All you need is a lot of confidence and a flat belly, so it's time to get physical and work out on your abs to make an excellent look and stand by this trend.

First of all let me wish you happy new year full of joy, smiles, luck, health and fashion.
This lace top was tailored for me from a vintage lace material that my grandmother bought from Moscow about 35 years ago. When she was young she was one of the best tailors and she had great taste in fashion. She kept that wonderful material all that long just for me so this is a lace with a history and much love from the grandmother that we share the same name and have so much in common.

I adore its vivid purple colour as well as its design with the roses.

Since JC Lita are such a hot trend I decided to search some more details and information about them, and then, I fell into that hot information!That the first one who designed such lace-up platform boots was Charles Anastase for f/w 2009 and the model is called Dungeon, with the only exception that those have a little bit higher platform, looking more like stripper and more extravagant. On the other hand JC Litas look cuter and of course are more famous and cheaper. I think that JC's inspiration for this kind of boots had a better result, at least more easy-to-wear.

Trends in men's shoes for s/s 2011

In my humble opinion, shoes say a lot about a man's personality, so here's a post about trends in men's shoes for spring/summer 2011.

My favorite shoe since last summer are espandrilles, and many designers loved and suggested them for s/s 2011.

The fashionable duo Domenico & Stefano have designed them in many colours and prints for D&G, also Prada has designed one with a rather chunky sole and Hermes.

Gucci never lets me down, always classy and chic both on clothes and shoes. For s/s 2011 loafers in sky blue colour, leather and python skin.

Boots in summer are a trend since last summer, although it makes me wonder how comfortable could be a boot in this hot weather. For s/s 2011 Bottega Veneta presented a loafer style boot, Dries Van Noten a motorcycle boot and Louis Vuitton an ankle suede boot in white.

It's already an evidence that chunky soles are a must for s/s 2011 although it bothers me how nice they would look on a man's foot. And of course the crepe sole is still a hot trend since winter.

Bright colours are a trend not only for women but for men as well. Hermes designed an ankle boot in green suede.

Allstar Converse are of course always a hot and safe trend!

And now the big DON'Ts!! Style murder is the less I can say to describe this new trend that suggests men to wear socks with sandals as well as this strange oxford style slipper.

This might be only Clarissa's second collection, but we can tell that she has a really grown experience in the fashion industry. And yes she does have lot's of experience, since she was working for two years as accessories designer at Christian Dior in Paris and almost six years she was designing womenswear for H&M in Stockholm specializing in knitwear and jersey for the Trend Department.

Her spring summer 2011 collection is magnificent, stylish and so easy to wear. I just love it!

One of the hottest trends for this season is of course leather, especially red leather. We've seen red leather clothes by Balmain, Valentino, Isabel Marant, Cos and so many other brands.Fashionistas and stylists adored it and of course included them in their closets. Another hot trend are safety pins which actually I've seen mostly on t-shirts and jeans.Today as I was browsing street style blogs I've seen those two hot trends combined together.The result is so stunning and different. To be honest, althought I love safety pins I am rather afraid of them, I think that they might open and pinch me, but that's just me trying to fight that fright.

Also, except of the huge variety in shoes, bags, clothes and accesories, they offer the best prices, you can find great deals in anything you're looking for! Needless to mention how many brands are included in their online store, you can get lost in them if you are just browsing, and it's so hard to close your window without shopping something.

And speaking of brands, Balenciaga and Givenchy are among my favorite ones.

Nicholas Ghesquiere is one of the best bag (and not only) designers ever! Balenciaga bags are so special, different! I especially adore their rock and glam style and this little mirror hanging looks so cute. They are so versatile, they look good on any occasion.Not to mention the quality which is perfect, the leather is so soft. Balenciagas are celebrities' favorite bags, especially Nicole Richie's, who owns hundreds of them! And since I already own a Balenciaga I can totally suggest you to buy one too!You will not be dissapointed! This season I am in love with this Balenciaga, the "Class Day", isn't it adorable?

Riccardo Tisci is also a genius designer! I don't remember if he ever let me down with his creations. His collections always amuse me! But if I had to choose a little something this season that would be the leopard print gladiator sandal. I know it's to early to to wear these, but I am daydreaming of summer, and summer 2011 would be so unfashionable not having a pair of gladiators, especially when we are talking of leopard print made by Riccardo Tisci gladiator sandals. This Italian designer knows what a woman fashionist wants for sure, and will always steal our hearts.

Those are just two of my current favorite things, and since I am so much into handbags and sandals, I would really like to own them in my closet too. For A/W 2011 they created colourful feather skirts, so sweet and beautiful! The only thing I am not that much into are the high heeled converse and the whole sporty look. In my mind feathers are romantic and sweet, not casual and sporty. Anyway, those guys are genius and know how to make statements and grab everyone's attention!

One of my favorite designers and one of the best fashion shows in London's fashion week, is Mary's Katrantzou. When I saw her collection today I was once again speechless. This woman is really talented and knows how to grap everyone's attention. Mary's trademark are of course graphic designs and rich colours and for A/W 2011 she was inspired from priceless symbolic cultural objects d’art such as coromandel screens, faberge eggs, quianlong dynasty china and meissen porcelain. Her designs are always so divine and original. Well done Mary!

A woman as stylish as Victoria Beckham couldn't fail in designing and passing her inspirations to clothes. Bright shades. maxi lenghts and cocooning shapes grabbed my attention!

Julie Eilenberger is a young Danish designer who gets inspiration from science fiction with a faint hint of old school glamour and Hollywood movies. In her latest collection she presented oversized knit jackets and sweaters as well as crochet knitted bathing suits, each clothing piece is fabulous and wearable. The best word to describe her collections is EXTRAVAGANT! The colours she uses, especially that juicy yellow, and the swarovski crystals and beadings in her dresses are too die for.

I love her Australian landscape prints which kinda remind me of Prada's s/s10 collection, where Miuccia Prada used beach prints. And just like two seasons before, those landscape prints are must for s/s 11 as well.
